Air Travel

Transit from Fiumicino Airport to Rome Termini Station
Terravision Airport Bus. We booked our tickets in advance online. The bus stop is easy to find - right outside the terminal. Didn’t have to wait long at all for the one hour journey to The termini Station(drop off) in central Rome and very easy to navigate around. Please visit the food hall right outside the pick up/drop off area - it’s amazing.

Accommodation
Booking.com and AirBnB
All accommodations we stayed were family friendly, very clean and kitchen sufficiently equipped if don't eat out. They are all in nice and safe neighbourhoods with great access to transits, restaurants and shopping. Good communications with hosts as well.
It is advisable to make reservations way ahead of time to ensure availability for chosen dates as they get booked very fast especially during peak seasons.
Transits
Before travelling we purchased some of the train tickets online from ItaliaRail. This saved us a lot of time from lining up at tickets booths and also from rushing around. The trains were on time, reliable and comfortable.
Tickets It's worth noting that prices may change over time and that there may be additional fees for things like guided tours or special exhibitions. It's also recommended to book your tickets in advance to avoid long lines at the tickets counters.
Mobile Data
TIM. Please check site for latest packages. At the airport in the arrival hall of terminal 3, there a 2 booths that sell Italian SIM cards and we got a TIM SIM card for 10.00€ - data and, calls and SMS included, valid for 30 days. Reception was great to navigate everywhere and checking transit schedules.
